Moles

Moles

Moles are small mammals with cylindrical bodies, velvety fur, and powerful front limbs adapted for digging. They lack external ears, giving them a streamlined appearance. One distinctive feature of moles is their large, paddle-like front paws equipped with sharp claws, used for excavating tunnels and burrows underground. Look for raised ridges and mounds of soil, known as molehills, as they push dirt to the surface while tunneling. They have sensitive snouts, aiding in their search for food underground.
